Lessons About Business, Personal Growth and Grabbing the Brass Ring - from George Lovato, Jr.

About George Lovato, Jr.

George Lovato, Jr.’s career in corporate finance and business management began modestly in 1979 when he managed general sales operations for an auto title service company owned by he and his father. In his early twenties he started an auto rental electronic reservation system that grew to become the 8th largest in the US. In 1984, after successfully taking that company public, Lovato founded B.H. Capital Limited which is comprised of corporate finance and management consultants, merchant, commercial and investment bankers.

Formally educated in New Mexico where he now resides, Lovato has founded and financed, both privately and publicly, development of several nationally recognized companies ranging from local financial firms to integrated travel, publishing, print and electronic communications-related businesses. Lovato has served on the Governor’s Business Advisory Council for two administrations, and serves on several regional and national boards of directors. His merchant banking and business accomplishments have been featured in several national publications.

A self admitted automobile addict his long standing passion for cars is  matched only by his love for his five dogs. His dogs are all “my kids” as he refers to them, and take up a good deal of his leisure time. ESPE as he calls it…Exercise, Socialize, Play and Eat keeps them healthy and happy as well as keep him on his toes.

Aside from writing his other artistic endeavors range from metal art to his love of old movies and keeping up with every new movie release as well as learning a new song to sing now and then. Formally trained he continues to threaten his wife Gale, of over thirty years, to torture her with a CD release of All Sinatra All The Time. Obviously not her choice.

Raised in California until the age of eleven and moved to New Mexico where he spends his time building several businesses. Working now on the sequel to his first book he says “ The next one will put more meat on the road and give readers more useable information about the world of finance.”

He says his only true vices are driving fast, fishing, skiing and cooking. If he were only  as successful with his metal art as he is with his cooking he states “ I would weigh less and have more iron in my blood.”
